One of Bravo’s finest, Lindsay Hubbard, is getting more screen time on the network thanks to Summer House’s new spin-off, In the City. This also means we’ll get to see a mix of fresh and familiar faces, including longtime Hamptons housemate Danielle Olivera.

The pair goes way back: Lindsay is an OG cast member, and Danielle joined the main cast’s infamous house parties in season 2. They bonded instantly and had each other’s backs in messy group arguments throughout that first season together, giving their friendship the nickname “arroz con pollo.” But once Lindsay and Carl Radke’s romance got more serious on season 7 of Summer House, she and Danielle faced a rift in their friendship and went no-contact…until they briefly reconciled for the reality show’s next season.

Now, they’ve officially reunited on In the City, and the vibes? Well, they’re kind of definitely awkward. Here’s everything you need to know about Lindsay Hubbard and Danielle Olivera’s drama timeline throughout their on-again, off-again friendship.

Summer 2018

Danielle joined season 2 of Summer House when her ex, Carl Radke, brought her in. Danielle and Carl had ended their relationship on good terms and continued hooking up on and off after their split.

This also marked her first time meeting Lindsay, and by the time the third season of the Bravo series came around, they became pretty close. They constantly defended each other when other housemates would stir the pot, and even gave their friendship the nickname, “arroz con pollo.”

Summer 2019

Lindsay and Carl started hooking up on season 4 of Summer House, but the fling remained brief after Lindsay wanted a committed relationship and Carl claimed he wasn’t ready for a serious romantic connection.

On the season premiere of In the City a few years later, Lindsay alleged that Danielle had given Carl a handjob in the back of an Uber two weeks after she had broken up with him in Summer House season 4. She even kept a list of grievances about Danielle in her phone since then, telling producers, “I’m certainly not gonna create space in my life for somebody who just, like, shits on me every chance that they get. Every year, it’s something. Let me just pull it up.”

September 2021

Lindsay and Carl rekindled their romance at Kyle Cooke and Amanda Batula’s wedding during the Summer House season 6 finale, which was filmed on September 25, 2021. They seemed committed to taking it more seriously.

August 2022

The following summer, Lindsay and Carl got engaged in a romantic private proposal at Southampton’s Dune Beach (and, yes, it was fully captured by the Bravo cameras for Summer House season 7). Danielle didn’t seem to take it well:

Danielle and Lindsay’s friendship also took a hit during Summer House season 7, when she said she thought her relationship with Carl was moving too quickly.

In her list of grievances she shared on In the City, Lindsay also claimed Danielle “had an absolute diabolical meltdown that Carl and I didn’t involve her in the planning of the proposal (that I knew nothing about).”

She also claimed that Danielle had “ganged up on her” with other girls in the house and “was a bitch to [her] that whole summer.”

Summer 2023

Danielle and Lindsay rekindled their friendship ahead of filming Summer House season 8 that summer. During a BravoCon panel later in the year, they revealed they got lunch together before filming to make sure they were in a good place.

“I think we decided that we wanted to work on our friendship, so we did,” Danielle said, before Lindsay confirmed that they talked about their “feelings and emotions” after everything. “We went into the summer and slowly just started moving and grooving,” Lindsay said at the time.

Lindsay and Carl officially called off their wedding two months before they were set to tie the knot in Mexico.

November 2023

During an appearance on Watch What Happens Live! with Andy Cohen, Danielle admitted she took a step back from her friendship with Carl in the wake of his and Lindsay’s split. She claimed she was Team Lindsay in the wake of their split since she was “not on good terms” with Carl.

“I think we set a lot of good boundaries in the beginning of the summer...” she said of her friendship with Lindsay, adding that Andy helped them reconcile. “And to your advice, we kind of formed a new friendship and it’s a really, really good one.”

Summer 2024

Despite being in a decent spot with Lindsay, Danielle made some comments about her during her Summer House season 9 confessionals. After Lindsay had moved on from Carl and given birth to her daughter, Gemma, Danielle questioned why she wasn’t living with the father of her future daughter.

Lindsay also pointed this out in her list of grievances she shared on In the City:

Oh, and important to note: Danielle exited the show after this season…

February 2025

Lindsay reportedly cut ties with anyone who brought “negative energy” into her life—including Danielle. At this point, they were officially on non-speaking terms.

May 2025

During the series premiere of In the City, Danielle told her boyfriend, Eoin Heavey, that she and Lindsay had spoken for the first time “four months before filming” for the spin-off. “She doesn’t even know about you, and that’s so weird,” Danielle said. “Like, I would love to be able to share that with her.”

September 2025

In the City started filming, and Danielle told Eoin that she met Lindsay’s daughter when she was born.

“I mean, I met her baby, Gemma, like right at the beginning, and then I feel like she just kind of ghosted on our friendship,” she said, adding, “It just sucks that we have, like, such big things going on in, like, our worlds, and I hate that it’s awkward now.”

But as the show premiered on Bravo, Lindsay’s list of grievances boiled up some old drama, prompting Danielle to address Handjob-Gate.

“Just in case this isn’t actually cleared up later on…it was a lie then, it’s a lie now,” Danielle wrote alongside a screenshot of a Page Six report regarding Lindsay’s claims.

Lindsay then slammed Danielle on her Instagram Stories that same day, urging people to revisit Summer House season 4. “Rewatch season 4, and call me later,” she wrote with an eggplant and waving emojis.

That’s all for now, but we’ll have to see how it all pans out on In the City!
